I used to alternate between working day and night shift at my old job. When I got off of nights, I would go to bed and wake up at like 4 PM. Naturally, so I could fall asleep that night and because I hated my job, I’d start drinking when I woke up. Since I had been staying up until 7AM for 6 days, I’d be up until like 2 or 3 AM; because I was drunk I’d get hungry. I always wanted Chinese food, but guess how many Chinese food places were open at 2 AM in Corpus Christi, zero that’s how many, so I could never get the food I craved.

Do you live in or near a city? Postmates has been great for me, they’ll deliver any food you want as long as the place has takeout.

Oh, there’s a Panda Express near me, but no delivery. I checked our favorite Chinese restaurant but they don’t deliver and the nearest one happens to be closed today.

Postmates is a middle man delivery service. You tell them what food you want from whatever restaurant in your area, and they get it and deliver it to you. Usually they only take a 5% cut on top.

What about regular Chinese delivery?

Our regular place doesn’t offer it, and the one place nearby that does deliver is closed on Sundays.
